Or, 30 Day H*ll as I like to call it. I just have a few questions for other users who are doing it
I was wanting to know if it would affect me if I took a day off of it every-now-and-then? Of course, with that, it will go a day longer to get all 30 days in, but I wanted to know if I would get better results from doing it every day. Also, if I do other exercises on the days that I don't do the shred, would that help at all?
I was also wanting to know if it made any difference if I wore shoes or not? I noticed that my legs hurt more when I do wear shoes, so I didn't know if the shoes helped the workout in any way? j

I don't know if it'd make a difference really, but I do the 30 Day Shred 4 days a week and I do 2 days of the EA Active 2 a week still so I can keep up with doing 50 minutes because the 30 Day Shred is so short compared to what I'm used to and I'm noticing changes in my body so I think it'd be fine, but everybody's different. Also my knees and shins hurt if I don't wear shoes :\

I by no means am an expert, but I'm on my 2nd round of it and I very rarely wear shoes. Partly because I loathe footwear of any kind and partly because I'm in my own home...who needs shoes?

As far as the other question, I don't think it will hurt if you take a rest day and then go a day longer for each day you rest. I take Saturdays off because I bartend those days and am on my feet for 16 hours straight and really don't feel like doing a darn thing when I get home at 3am. However, instead of adding another day on at the end, I just do 2 workouts the following day to make up for it. Not the same, but L1 and L2 or L1 and L3, etc......

I also walk for an hour pretty much every day along with the Shred.....This time around I've already lost an inch around hips and wasit and melted 6 pounds off...and I'm only halfways through.

    Good Luck!!!

yeah, I usually try to do some other stuff too, that is, if my legs don't hurt so bad that I can't stand...

I just started 30DS on Monday, took Tuesday off (thighs sore!) and did a yoga DVD, Wednesday had yoga class, did 30 DS last night, will walk today and do 30DS tomorrow. My plan is to do 30DS every other day and either do yoga or treadmill on the days in between. I'm of the belief that your muscles need a day of rest in between intense work outs. I doubt that I'll see the extreme results that the video suggests, but I'd rather be safe than sorry, I'd hate to risk an injury. I think as long as you keep moving, you'll see results! Best of luck to you!!
  • I don't see how you will see the results which others are obviously experiencing without doing it every day? That's why it is called 30 day Shred!

I'm on Day 4 today and plan on doing it for 30 days straight without breaks.
I'm still bike riding and walking, which I normally do.
20 mins a day is the least amount of exercise we should do daily anyway.
