short (per session) flexibility increasing suggestions?

Can anyone recommend a reasonably short set of exercises/stretches to improve flexibility? This is for my boyfriend so 30+ minutes of yoga pilates aren't going to cut it (He won't want to do that) but 10-15 minutes of additional stretches are probably in the realm of possibility.
He stretches before running and stuff but I don't really see that he's making gains and I assume its because he's not actually working against some kind of measured program or because he just does the same 2 or 3 things.

How about you do some two person stretches. You can help him gain flexibility and get more range in his stretches.0

Hi: This is what I do:
I get into the stretch position that I want to improve and stretch to the point just before it starts to be uncomfortable. I hold that position and take a deep breath and hold it. When I let the breath slowly go and lean a little deeper into the stretch until it starts to be just a little uncomfortable. I hold the new position and take another deep breath and hold it. Again I let the breath go slowly and lean even deeper into the stretch. I repeat that 4 or 5 times. When I get as low as I can go I hold the stretch for an additional 10 seconds. Release the stretch slowly as you will have gotten much deeper into the stretch as you normally would have and you don't want to snap the muscles too quickly back into place.
I was taught this method by a national team coach in Tae Kwon Do (a sport where flexibility is a must). He swears by it.
I love this approach because it works and does so quite quickly without hurting.0 -
Very important: The stretching BEFORE workouts keeps you from hurting yourself during the workout.
THE STRETCH AFTER THE WORKOUT improves your flexibility.0 -

I and just about every fitness expert on the planet will disagree. If he wants to improve his flexibility he needs to stretch AFTER exercise. If you want to do the two person stretches do them AFTER he works out.0
