HELP PLEASE!!

I am sooo frustrated with my new HRM. I have the Polar F11 and am having trouble with it picking up my HR. I've tried everything in the book. It worked a couple days ago great and now flashes the HR and then goes to 00. I'm so frustrated, I just bought it. What can I do? Anybody?:sad:

Make sure you wet down the "thingys" on the chest strap. And...make sure the watch is within range of it.

I noticed with mine...it can not sit on the counter next to my bike and pick up my heart rate, but if it's in my pocket...it will. Almost the same distance.

Sorry, I have the F6 and the only time I had it flash the 00 at me was user error. The chest strap had come undone and I didn't realize it yet. Maybe it's defective...:frown:

I have the things wet and on me. It's picking up now, but I'm nowhere near my basement where all my exercise stuff is!!!!:sad:

Two things I noticed with my F4...
It's gotta be wet.... AND make sure the strap is tight enough. Mine was too loose and wasn't picking up my HR and then zeroing out.
