Maximum heartrate is 220 - your age. Here's a tool that will help with target heart rate for exercise: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/target-heart-rate/SM000830

Alright, I'm primarily inside where I should be sometimes a little higher than the target zone, is that bad or just that I'm getting adjusted to exercising/working my heart and all?0

As you work out more your "fat burning zone" will increase as your aerobic capacity increases, but not by very much. Keep in mind the basic numbers are for average people, and as you train more you numbers will be different.
If you are a little higher you are still burning some fat while at the same time training your aerobic capacity also. In fact you will burn more calories all the way around by training above your fat zone, so you should be just fine.
In training in your aerobic zone you will be making your body into a more efficient machine, increasing your metabolism as you go.0 -
