I find that I still have 300 calories left sometimes at night. Is it ok to use them up on a glass of wine? Any other ideas of how I can "use" them up! :drinker:

I do that on occasion - a glass of heart healthy red.

That is what I do. :drinker:
  • mmm...wine. I had to make a choice this week between trying a questionable wine (wine with a giant question mark on the label) or happy wine (a giant smiley face), I went with the Happy wine.

Some days I work extra hard and burn a little more just to have that glass of wine during dinner. It's worth it :drinker:

I save calories for alcohol, but red wine is pretty low in calories. per ounce it is only 25 cals. So if you are saving 300 cals, and you have one glass (4 oz), you will not use up those 300 cals on the wine only.

be careful. since I have decreased my alcohol consumption a lot, I find my tolerance is way down. even two drinks can give me a headache tomorrow. Make sure you chug down plenty of water to compensate for all the dehydrating effects-:drinker:

    I HEAR YOU!

Iused to be able to quaff martinis like nobody's business.... Not after two week's dieting, hardly any alcohol and an empty stomach.
