What heart rate monitor would you recommend??

Hi everyone!
I want to get my husband a HRM for Christmas, he has been asking for one. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks!

    I love my Polar FT4 :) reasonably priced & very accurate!

    Polar I just picked up the Polar Ft7 from heartratemoniorsusa.com for 89.00. I have since heard that you can get a discount if you add the code word POLAR. I also liked the FT4 but for a few extra $$ I went for more features.

    I also have an FT4 and so does my husband. We both LOVE them- they give you accurate info and more features than a basic model HRM and are super easy to use- plus they come with a WAY more comfortable chest strap :)

    But the FT4 breaks easy. Mine still works but the face on it cracked on the side and I'm not too rough with it. I might have had a few run ins with the hand weights but it shouldn't have cracked this easy.

    POLAR FT7 (about $100)!!!! But also ask for the FlowLink (about $50) so you can upload the data to the internet AND join challenges with people all over the world! My current challenge is to burn 3500 calories a week and I'm competing against individuals in Australia, UK, New Foundland, nobody from the US. It's so much fun!! I've had mine for 2 years.

    I also have a Garmin 210 and it is not accurate for the HRM and calorie burning totals, but it is accurate for the GPS for running outside.

    FT4 doesn't have the internet option, just so you know. The internet option with the Ft7 motivates me like you wouldn't believe!
