Oatmeal and Cottage Cheese

Hey Everyone! I noticed that a bunch of people add cottage cheese to their oatmeal....how does this taste? I like both but it makes me nervous putting them both together.

    My favorite!! Make sure to cook the oatmeal first and then add the cottage cheese. Makes it really creamy, adding yogurt is good too! :bigsmile: (and a good way to get in carbs and protein!)

    Usually between 1/4- 1/2 cup. Try a little and see if you like it! :bigsmile:

    I mix applesauce in my oatmeal . . . SO GOOD!!!

    It's AMAZING. I have been doing it for a couple years now. I do 1 cup cooked oats, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, a little vanilla, some splenda, and cinnamon...yuummmmmm :bigsmile:

    Thanks so much. I usually put in nuts to the oatmeal or peanutbutter and banana-awesome. Cottage cheese-which I just got, i only put in tomato. Do you add sweetner to it too then? milk?:huh:

    I do 1/2 c. old fashioned oatmeal, 1/4 c. Fiber one cereal (cooked w/ 1 1/4 c. water), then add 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 T. Naturally More PB, and 1/4- 1/2 c. cottage cheese. I sometimes call it my PMS-oatmeal! :laugh: Very filling and full of good carb, fiber, and protein!
