Hi,

I have been using myfitnesspal for a while but I have also been trying to shift this stubborn stone for a while! I haven;t used the social side of the site yet and I am hoping you can give me the extra motivation I need.

My diet is pretty good, my problem is I like wine, as do my friends and the calories mount up! Also, I have hurt my knee and can't currently exercise (I miss running) which makes this whole thing harder.

My target is a wedding in April, so I have a while. However, in theory it should only take 10 weeks!!!

What is your story?

Looking forward to meeting you.

Sara

Hi Sara! If you've stopped losing weight, something needs to change. Are you eating back your exercise calories? Many users have found that when they start doing this it breaks their plateau and they start losing again. Try zig-zagging your calories as well; eat a few hundred over one day, and eat a little under the next. Changing your caloric intake helps to rev your metabolism. As for exercising, focus on arms for now. Do seated exercises! Wine is not only high in calories, but having alcohol regularly makes your body retain water making it look like you haven't lost weight when you may have. Maybe work on trying to limit the wine drinking if you can. Best of luck! Message me if you have any other questions :D
