i'd say do as much as you can. you seem to be losing just fine any way.
maybe you can do twenty minutes in the morning and twenty minutes in the afternoon?

id really love to be able to do that but i cant do it most of the time cause i have no baby sitter. im really really strict about my daughter not being in day care around here so we have the grand parents watch her but i dont like to make them watch her longer then they have to (cause i know they have their own lives) and most of the time when my fiance works its till 5 or later. so working out in the afternoon is hard

It sounds like plenty to me. I really don't work out that much, 20-30 minutes on the stationary bike, 2-5 days a week.....but usually more like 2-3. And I pretty consistently lose a pound a week.

If you want to work out more how about trying some dvd's you can do at home? When the weather warms up you can always take your daughter for walks. Do you have a mall that you can walk in now? Put your daughter in a stroller and go.

Get some resistance bands for home. The thicker the harder. they're cheap and better for women than free weights. Then save all your cardio for the gym. This way, you're still at home with your daughter, setting a great example for her and she can even play around with them and not get hurt. I wrote a great article called hotmomov4's- tip of the day. Keep on going girl.

I was going to say the same thing as hotmom - do your cardio at the gym, and you can do strength training at home - it's easy to do sit ups, push ups, lunges, squats, tricep dips, etc and you don't even need any equipment! You can even do those during tv commercials!
Can you fit in some cardio on your lunch break? Even just a 20 minute walk 2 or 3 times a week will add up!

Another thought I had, is can you do circuit training in the morning - that way you get both the cardio & strength training in at the same time?

20 minutes of non stop activity will keep your metabolism up throughout the day. Regardless of the pace or intensity.

The weights will help your metabolism increase because the more muscle you have the more calories your body burns.

Lunch break? whats that haha. i drive a lunch truck, i get no technical breaks or lunches but i dont mind it cause really its a relaxing job most of the time still work and i know that loading and un loading the trucks are a mild work out in itself lol but i drive around all day and sell food to people and have good conversation its pretty awsome.
