The last 5 Kilos - the hardest five?

Hi everyone, i've been using MFP for a while now on and off. I've lost almost 15kg's so far, currently sitting around 78kg's and want to get down to 72kg's. The lightest I got to was 76 but have slowly gained over the past 3 months - blaming a busy work schedule for my lack of commitment to the gym and my diet.

I am determined to reach my goal and would love to do it by the end of 2011 which has been the year of change for myself and my body. I finally feel more comfortable in my body and just need to lose the last 5kilos to hit my goal!

Any tips and advice to shock my body back in to the weight loss zone would be appreciated!

I have written up an exercise and meal plan for the next week - will keep you updated on how I go!

Adhere strictly to the mfp green numbers. Strictly to the point of weighing stuff.

    Lift weights.

Give yourself at least 2 months to lose those 5 kilos. Took me 2 months to lose 4 kilos without super extra crazy cardio like I read on here.

That looks a lot like Suncorp Stadium!
  • thanks et - will be logging everything on MFP and staying in the green and will be increasing my resistance work outs.
Yep - it's suncorp - state of origin final this year!

Forgot to say all the things I should have said, of course.

15kg is a significant loss and good on you, very well done. Here's to a very successful 2011.

Bananas are back to an affordable price, woo hoo.
  • Thanks!! I know - I remember paying around $6 for 2 at one stage!!

    Thanks for your replies.
