I have dry skin and Michigan's cold weather doesn't really suit it. I haven't found a body lotion I really like yet. Don't wanna spend a fortune on it, but I'm looking for something good.

Any suggestions will be really appreciated :)

My son has dry skin and Curel really helps him a lot. It's not as "fun" as putting on the good smelling Bath & Body Works stuff, but it works. I think they might have a sample size you can buy at Walmart (it's what I keep in my purse) so you could try it for a dollar or less. Good luck. We are in Wisconsin and I know just what you mean about this nasty dry winter weather.

Bath and Body Works! They ALWAYS have specials, too! Currently, for the holidays, I think they're going to do their buy 3 get 3 special! :)

I have very dry skin and it is also sensitive. I mostly use the Olay line of products. I don't often try new stuff cuz I hate chancing an allergic reaction. hives on my face is awful. :smooched: (i know thats kiss marks on the smiley but you get the idea)

I would highly suggest that you try the Hempz brand. It's not cheap, but you know how dry and miserable your skin is going to get, and your skin deserves the best. RIght now I'm using the Pomegranate, but there are other scents. Here is a link to the Ulta website for you to check it out if you'd like.

i absolutely love hemp pomegranate body lotion. it has a light scent, and is extremely moisturizing. i get it at ulta. i get the largest size with a pump dispenser for about 22.50 (they always have 3.50 off 10 coupon you can use too). i put it on my entire body every night after i shower and it will last the entire dry skin season.

Carmex Healing Lotion - comes in a yellow tube - I have been getting it at Walgreens. I also have some of the new Gold Bond Ribbons, comes in a can - kinda expensive but very good for dry skin.

I always get the urge for some new bath & body lotion this time of year!

Hemp is good.. You can also get it at Sally Beauty Supply (if you have one in your area) and it's less expensive there. I've been using it for years. However, at night I use Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E Skin Care Cream, particularly on my hands/arms and feet/legs also use it during the day on hands/arms. It's inexpensive, does a good job and can be purchased many places, including wal-mart; target; walgreens; on-line, etc.

Jergens Natural Cocoa Butter; moisturing but absorbs easily; I find the palmers cocoa butter has waxy lumps when I try to rub it in

I have MAJOR dry skin issues in the winter thanks to psoriasis. I also have very sensitive skin and can't use anything with heavy scents or a lot of alcohol, so most of the lotions you can find in regular stores are out for me. I usually use either Desert Essence hand and body lotion or Alba Botanica very emollient body lotion. For really cold, dry weather I also put a layer of Aurora Naturally's Warm Skin barrier cream on over the lotion. Great stuff!

For something good yet inexpensive I like St Ives Soothing Oatmeal & Shea Butter. The scent is pleasant too. I have a major issue with headaches from fragrances so a lot of B&B is out for me.

Eucerin is good but a bit pricey.
