Bad week/month, starting again

More of a rant than a question, just wanted to write it all down as motivation to start properly again.

Bad week this week, and not great weeks leading up to it. Back from a 3 week holiday last weekend, wasn't too bad during the holiday, but not logging regularly and exercise went out the window a bit. Came back last weekend and had great plans for getting back on track on Monday. But, then didn't sleep a wink on Sunday and forfeited the gym Monday to sleep. It was the start of being sick all week. Have the flu and was out of work Thursday and Friday. No exercise all week, didn't eat much and had a bad stomach for the week but then have been eating anything in sight since yesterday.

Problem no. 2 is that I live in Bangkok. With the flooding things are a bit mad here. Water is limited so I'm not drinking enough, supermarkets are cleared out and there's limited options food wise. Eating street food quite a bit, which is cheap and yummy but not exactly good for the calorie counting. No idea how many calories in anything but I do know it's certainly not healthy. Grabbed a few bits in tesco today but still very few options.

So, I've had a bad week/month and I need to motivate myself to get up again. I'm terrified of going back to the gym for the first time in nearly a month. I'd gotten into a decent routine before this but I'm afraid I'll have lost all the fitness I had. I've actually lost weight, but I think that's from being sick, and I think I'll probably put it back on when I start eating properly.

Anyone been in this position before? Tips?

I just need to go do it really, but hopefully it'l help to have it written down to keep me accountable.
