Snow in NC

North Carolina does not handle snow very well! The university I am at (UNCC) is closed until 10 am. I was going to head to the gym this morning, walked outside and turned around. I tried again and got about half way there before the boyfriend told me I was crazy and said I should turn back. He was right, I nearly fell a few times. The sidewalks are so slick from the ice. I'm disappointed they didn't take precautions last night. I think I'll pop in a walk away the pounds dvd so I get something done!

    we got about 26 cm last night on top of two feet we already had. Schools are closed, universities never close around here. Too used to it :)

    I'm in NC too and we didn't get much here. The grass was a little white and it was cold as crap but that is all. I am about an hour out of Charlotte, towards Hickory.
