I'm 30 years old living in northern Colorado. A few years ago, I was able to drop 80 pounds to become a healthy weight of 165 for my 5'8 frame. Then I got married and have slowly creeped back up to 200, half the weight I had lost. I didn't want to go back to that size so I went on a diet and lost 10 pounds. But then the weight loss completely stalled. My wife started using myfitnesspal to start loosing weight, so I've decided to give it a shot too. I want to get down to at least 175. Since joining this site two weeks ago, I've lost two pounds.

The way I see things, I've got two main obstacles:

Poor impulse control. I don't have a large appetite as a rule, but I have trouble saying no to food. If it's in front of me, I eat it.

Work interferes with being able to exercise. I work 10-12 hours per day, 5-6 days per week. I come home exhausted and no interest in doing anything physical.
