"Crab" Stuffed Mini Fillo Shells
I love these! I used the same filling to make these as I do for the "Crab" Rangoon I recently posted.
Baked "Crab" Stuffed Mini Fillo Shells - Makes 15 - Serving size is 1 filled shell
Athens - Mini Fillo Shells , 1 container (15 shells ea.)
Lea & Perrins - Worcestershire Sauce, 1 tsp (5 ml)
Onions - Raw, 1 tbsp chopped
Giant Whipped Cream Cheese - Whipped Cream Cheese, 4 tbsp
Louis Kemp Healthy Crab Delights - Chunk Style Crab Product, - 4 oz. chopped
Garlic - Raw, 0.25 clove
Mix cream cheese, Worcestershire Sauce, Onions, garlic & chopped Crab Delights together. Fill each fillo shell with the mixture (about 1 tsp.) Place shells on baking pan sprayed lightly with oil (or use non-stick aluminum foil or parchment paper). Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes or until brown.
My recipe with the above ingredients came out as follows for 1 serving - 1 filled filo shell. (You can eat a few of servings with this low calorie count!). And if you use the low calorie cream cheese, it would probably be less. I just don't like the low calorie cream cheese.

actually, if you use real lump crab meat, they are better for you (assuming you can absorb the cost)....imitation crab or surimi has more carbs, more fat and way more sodium...and way less protein than real.

You're right and they would probably taste even better, but real crab meat is so very expensive around here and not in my budget right now.....0 -
Thanks for sharing the recipe, they sound yummy0
