Maybe start tracking sodium as well..too much sodium can inhibit things

You need to add breastfeeding to your diary!!! It is under food, search breastfeeding...there are options for age of child and if you breastfeed exclusively or not. It adjusts your calorie intake for breast feeding. You are not getting enough calories, and your body is holding on to the weight for the sake of your milk supply. Most of my friends on MFP I met on "What to expect" message boards and we all have babies around the same age.. the ones that breast feed have significantly higher calories and they lose weight. I cannot stress this enough. ADD IT TO YOUR DIARY! Good luck0

Try counting carbs, limit to about 160 per day0

Weight loss is about diet, the exercise really doesn't help lose weight.
This is SO not true. At least not for everyone. For me weight loss is about 70 - 80% exercise.0 -
ummm yes you do half to woorkout to loos wahit omg i hate when people say this its not just about your diest even though you et the right amount coulers you stiil have to woorkout out and everyday of 60 min omg woorkout is goooooooooooodd (: hahahahah

I've been listening to a podcast called "Cut the Fat" and one of their episodes talks about how we should lose about 10% of our weight, then spend 3-6 months doing nothing but maintaining that loss. That would sure take a lot of patience, but they say it's really good for our bodies to go super slow like that. It seems my body is wanting to do the same thing!
If you have an iPod, iPhone or smartphone, the episodes are free and quite uplifting.0 -
Breastfeeding does not necessarily keep you from losing weight - with both of my pregnancies I gained exactly 37 lbs and both times I had lost it all by 6 months - not working out, not watching my diet, in fact still eating like I did when I was pregnant - breastfeeding exclusively burns about 500 calories per day, that's why I lost the weight b/c I certainly didn't put in any other effort. Problem is, once we started giving solids and baby started nursing less and less, I started gaining weight back b/c I didn't decrease my intake, didn't start exercising, and nursing required less calories as they needed less from me.
Now my youngest is 19 months and I am still nursing, but he's down to only once or twice a day so I don't log it. But I log everything else (food, exercise, water), I eat my exercise calories and stick close to MFPs goal and I'm loosing weight very successfully even though I'm still nursing. The key is to be aware of everything going on with you. Every once in awhile baby has a rough day and nurses more often, and on those days I allow myself an extra snack or two b/c he is demanding more of my calories. You really do need to try and eat extra on top of your goal to support nursing if it's more than once or twice a day IMO. Consider it a workout that you need calories for energy to sustain it. If you go to your food diary and type in 'breastfeeding' there are several options you can choose from to account for the calories you need.0
