Hey all you lovely people, well im wanting to start running but please go easy on me here
i ran run for about 5minutes and then i feel like im going to die on the spot. Any tips on how to start myself off. I was thinking mayb start my walking round the block (only about a 10minute walk) and then after a few days turn it into a half walk/half jog and then full jog ect untill i can easly manage it in a jog then change to a run and then change my distance and start off with a steady jog again? Does anyone think this will work? Sorry this post is a little long
xx

Check out the Couch to 5K program. I started from not running (or even walking or doing anything for that matter) in June, to running my first 5K race on October 1st. Can't say enough about it! Now I run anywhere from 2 - 5 miles a few times a week.0

I think that would work wonderfully! It's basically what I did to start out. I ran my first half in June. You can do it!!!0
