Preparing for weight loss surgery-Bipolar Discovery

I am creating this post mainly to find out my start date. I think it shows it in a post. Its been at least a year since I have actually logged. I'm needing this date so I can print my daily calories. The reports only go back 90 days. I am providing evidence of previous weight loss. The insurance will not pay unless you have pursued three ways I have tried to lose weight. One being nutrisystem, two being MFP and three being mobile fit that my ymca used to offer. Luckly, it is still in use on the web, I was able to print out all my work outs for the last 2 yrs. Now I am here to print my attempt at calorie counting, my last evidence is nutrisystem and yummy vitamuffins!

I found my workout routine is on a pattern..bipolar people have highs and lows. I didn't think I had the roller coaster with my steady meds. My workout for two years was consistant Sept-Dec. I stopped and got discouraged, when everybody else started their new years resolution.
I will report back, after I find the start date for MFP, I wonder if the consistancy followed the same pattern.

Well I can see that your first post was on Mon 12/27/10 04:24 PM by looking through your posts.

leighbie1987, I only qualify for the lap band surgery, because my BMI is only 34.5, and the lowered BMI is just if you have health risks like me, Diabetes, High Colesterol, etc... (I say only, because I am not obese enough for the sleeve or bypass.), its still a pretty high BMI. The FDA lowered the BMI for lap band, because you only loose 40 or 50 lbs. Thats all I would need. This is the cheapest in Dallas using cash 9995.00. But alot of insurances will pay, they just want certain documentation, like proof of diets (3 at least), that have failed. Also documentation of weight from my family doctor, and because I have Bipolar, I will definitely have my counselors approval (he already told me).

I now have an android phone, and I maybe can keep up with logging, if I get the surgery.Logging at the time I eat it, would be easier than doing it at the end of a tiring day.

You can print nutrition and exercise reports way beyond the 90 days.

Be careful though, as it might show you haven't tried hard enough or didn't properly stick to a plan - I'm not saying that is the case, but some thing to be wary of if you're presenting it as evidence.

Are you keeping a mood diary? My daughter has bi-polar and has to fill one out to help her realise what may be a trigger for episodes. Just a suggestion, to use alongside your MFP reporting to track 'triggers'. Loads of luck to you, I hope you get the surgery and recover quickly :-)0 -
