Those three words

So I was looking at pictures of one of my friends whom I don't see very often and she's recently put on quite a bit of weight. I found myself thinking 'Man, she is super pretty - she would be like a model if she lost some weight.'

AND THEN - I followed that thought in my head with 'I don't know why she doesn't just try to lose weight - IT'S. SO. EASY.'

WHAT?! Did I just forget that it meant completely changing my mindset and my entire relationship to food? On the positive side, I suppose it means I don't try so hard now, because it seems 'normal' to eat less.

Anyone else tend to rose-tint their weight-loss journey?

Yes! Haha! My sister told me my waist was so skinny and I said "Really? Thanks, it's just my genes" (being arrogant as a joke) and then she said "YEAH RIGHT you've been on a diet for 3 months". Then I figured, yeah she's right. My body does naturally carry much less weight on my waist but it's like I completely forgot about my hard work! I definitely have rose-tinted glasses when it comes to my weight loss!
