My NSV!!

Good Morning All!!

I just had to share my NSV from last night!!

My 25 year old nephew and his wife are expecting their first baby....and yesterday we went to see the 3D ultrasound -- what an amazing sight!!! They didn't have that technology when my babies were born over 16 years ago...but long story short...I hugged my nephew, as I always do (he is 6'5", so when I hug him, I am at his chest). He didn't say anything at that time...but my family went to his house for dinner last night! When I got there, we hugged again and he said...."I meant to say something to you earlier, but I noticed when we hugged that there was a lot less to hug!!" :blushing:

Ahh...he made my heart melt!! What a wonderful feeling!! Even on a day where I just wasn't feeling it...someone noticed!! I have a LONG way to go but 1 lb at a time, adds up!!! Good Luck in your journies!! MFP has been a blessing to me!

that is so sweet. We don't lose weight for other people, but it is such a nice feeling when other people notice!

Thank you ladies and you are RIGHT...you can't lose weight for someone else! This is ALL about me! Although, I am healthy now, my Dr. makes sure that I remember that I have a 50% shot of having diabetes (both of my parents are diabetic).

I want to live healthy and enjoy life! There are WAY too many things that I have avoided in life because I was too big or I would be embarrassed if my *kitten* didn't fit in the seat! No more!!
