I've upped my account to lose 1lb a week instead of 2lb now, as for the past 3 weeks I've only been losing 1lb anyway!

I don't know why I'm suddenly having trouble staying under - well I'm back living at my mums so don't have much of a choice in what she buys because shes on a strict budget so lots of frozen meals. She got into buying frozen veg for me so I like to bulk on that when I can with dinners.

It's not that I've lost all my motivation, I'm fine with losing only 1lb per week, I feel better and it's still coming off anyway! I make better choices and I'm just more aware of what I'm eating. I have bad days - usually vodka induced but I get over it, it doesn't stop me carrying on and most important it doesn't make me binge or feel bad the next day. It's just I don't see why I've had to do it!

I've upped my calories in the hope that the extra few hundred will make me feel a bit better day to day. But 4 months down the line I guess I feel like I'm failing a bit now!

Just needed a bit of a rant!! And I guess some reassuring from people that it does happen?! Has anyone else been through this and still got to there goal weight?

one pound a week is normal and still great. I have been losing about a pound a week for over 4 months now, and that is still 16 pounds down :) Liqour is my weakness also, but i just limit my alcohol to once a week and make sure that i eat lighter that day or get extra exercise. Alcohol can pack on the pounds in itself VERY easily :) Keep trying. :)

If you are continuing to lose 1 lb a week, then that's great! You feel like that unless you are going at it 100%, and losing 2-3 lbs a week, that it means you have lost some of your motivation, that you are failing. Actually, in my opinion, you are doing it the way we're suppose to be doing it! Slow and steady, and learning to control what & how much we eat. That is not failure, that is success! :flowerforyou:
