Should you do JM's 30 Day Shred everyday or take a rest day? I'm on level 2 and pretty sore but think I can do it. I have only had one rest day since I started 13 days ago.
I googled this but got a 50/50 answer. Usually get great advice here- so please let me know your thoughts!
Thanks!

You will get mixed responses here, but I think either way is fine. I did the 30 DS in 30 days. Personally, I felt if I took a day here or there, I would use it as an excuse more frequently. So I chose to make it something I HAD to do every day.0

I did it for 34 days with 3 days off. I only had days off because I physically did not have time to do it! I got real sore at times but powered through and it only ever lasted a day or two! Good luck, whatever you decide!0

When I did it, I did it for 30 days straight with no rest. I got amazing results and I've heard the results are better if you DON'T take days off during. It's really all a matter of preference, though.0

Best to push through if you can. The soreness will subside, and the results will be amazing as Sheilamknott says.0

This DVD is sitting on my dining room table as we speak. I havent tried it, as I'm more of a gym goer than a work out at home person... But lemme tell ya, EVERYONE I talk to says this dvd is amazing... I cannot wait to start it. The people I know personally who have done this (borrowed the DVD from my SIL) did it everyday for 30 days. I think it's meant for that.0

I TRY to do it everyday, but with work, kids, etc...i miss an average of one day a week! if you are sore, maybe take a day of rest...when i tried doing the shred for last month i made it half way, cuz i was having pains and aches and DIDNT take a day of rest, and ended up with an ankle problem!
your body will tell you when to take a breather..listen to it.
good luck to you! i have already seen amazing results from this workout! i love it!0 -
I think it depends on how sore you are. If it is just slight muscle soreness then power through it. If it is so bad you can't move then take a day off and do some stretching and light exercises. If it's somewhere in between you might do level 1 instead of level 2. You will def notice that you are stronger and that level 1 is easy compared to what it used to be.0
