A simple, traditional Japanese way to prepare Tofu

I've seen that some people are looking to replace some meat in their diet with soy products. Though I'm not a veg, I do know some good recipes using tofu. Here's a simple Japanese method:
Take a block of silken tofu and drain. Place in between two plates and place a weight on top to drain out excess water.
Take a green onion and slice.
When tofu is drained, slice. Drizzle with soy sauce and sprinkle green onions on top. Serve immediately.
I started cooking by packing bento boxes, so I have a lot of traditional Japanese recipes. Japanese food is typically very low cal.

This was my favourite way to eat tofu when I lived in Japan, and sometimes with some dried bonito flakes on top! I think they use ponzu, like soy sauce. Unfortunately I am yet to find tofu anywhere in Turkey!!0

I really miss the fresh tofu I could buy when we lived in Japan. Nothing here tastes quite the same way. Thank you for sharing.0
