So I know someone has probably asked this before, but I need direction and couldn't find any, Is it bad to go over your sugars? Mine comes from fruits, most of the time, and once in a while from yogurt or bars, protein/granola? What are your thoughts?

It's not GREAT to go over on sugar, but if a lot comes from fruit, then it's not the worst thing in the world if you are close. I would say, make a good faith attempt to stay under, and if you occationally go over, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

the site doesn't differentiate between good sugar (like from fruit), and refined sugar. if you find yourself going over a lot, then evaluate your diet and see where all of the sugar is coming from. again, it its from things like fruit or lactose, then you'll be fine. keep refined sugar to a minimum.

Keep in mind sugar in fruit is still sugar. Yes it's BETTER than refined sugars, but it's still not good for you in large amounts. Eating excessive amounts of ANYTHING is not a good idea.

My sugar allowance is 24grams ... 1 apple contains 26grams. If I eat 1 apple a day I'm over my allowance already ..?! BOOO!!
