I love pizza and have been making it for years, but never figured out the calories. Since joining MFP, I created a recipe to see how many calories I was eating. this is the recipe:

Panefresco 100% whole wheat pizza dough (60 cal/serving)
1/2c. pasta sauce (70cal per 1/4 cup)
1c. mozzarella cheese (80 cal per 1/4 cup)
16 slices Marguerita pepperoni slices(140 calories)
1 link signature turkey sausage (130 cal/link
1/4 of an onion (?)minimal
2 mushrooms (?)miniaml

Dividing the pizza into 4 equal servings it is approximately 285 calories for serving. Not bad, huh? AND, it is fresh.....Is it more work, yes. But not for me.... my husband makes it LOL

Sounds yummy. I love pizza, too! And I do go out for pizza quite often...it's just so good in New York!

But I also like making mini pizzas on Ezekiel bread, OR another fun new favorite is cauliflower crust pizza (which I learned about on MFP)...tastes just like pizza, with I think less than 10g of carbs per slice.
