Trying to feel better inside and out..

Hi everyone,

This is the part where I introduce myself. I'm Anna. I'm 5'10" and 200lbs. When I was 18 years old, I had an accident on my bike and ruined my back for what seems to be the rest of my life. I have 3 herniated disks in my lower back. The more weight I gain, the more pain I'm in. So I've decided to do something about it. A very good friend of mine told me about My Fitness Pal, and after using it for 2 days, I've discovered just how easy keeping track of my calorie intake is going to be. My goal weight is 165lbs. The last time I weighed that much, I was in 8th grade! I'm really looking forward to seeing what I'm made of during this process. It's also very nice to know that through this website, I'll be able to come get support when I need it.

    I had a herniated disc earlier this year and I've never been in so much pain in my life. It was a miserable 4 months. Be sure not to rush into working out too hard, too soon. Good luck!
