I had the best run!

I've been in a bit of a running funk since late summer. Starting the first weekend in June, over a 6-week period I ran a 5K, 10K, 20K, 1/2 marathon and full marathon and really burned myself out (set PRs in the 20K and full marathon too!).
Since then I've just lost the "run because I love to" feeling and have been running because I felt like I should, because it burns a lot of calories, etc. Then I moved out of state in August and left my marathon running buddies behind and I've been struggling with enjoying running alone all the time in my new town. Added to that I've been struggling with my sciatic nerve (still bugging me but I'm working on it) giving me troubles.
Anyway, Saturday was a beautiful day....we still have snow on the ground but it got in the 50s for temp and I thought I'd head out for a late afternoon run. Left about 3pm, wearing my shorts and feeling a little silly sloshing through some snow, but whatever...
Ended up running 8 miles and my average pace was 9:15. Whole run felt effortless and was so mentally re-charging for me. Ah, bliss! I really needed that!!!
