Hangover Exercise

First hangover in months... definitely want to do a workout to make up for yesterday. Think a brisk walk is the best option? For those of you who occasionally experience hangovers (I blame a month of not drinking, then not realizing my new limits!), what do you do for a workout?

I usually bust my butt doing a 30 minute elliptical workout. It hurts at first, but afterwords it pretty much cures the hangover for me. You sweat out all the toxins and such. Feel better!0

I was hanging over yesterday, like most Sunday's cuz I only drink on Saturday night, usually I just relax on Sunday's anyway, but yesterday I went shopping with my daugher for 5 hours and we walked the mall and walmart, so I marked that as an hour of exercise, on other days(hanging sundayz days) I either ride my stationery bike or relax..I walk every day 30 minutes in the morning and 20-30 minutes in the afternoon, soooo I dont sweat it for that 1 day of a hangover!!!!! <|:O)0

p.s. and drink a ton of water cuz you are deficient from the alcohol!!!:drinker:0

Hmm..I read somewhere that it's dangerous to exercise on a hangover? Not sure if it's true or not, I'm sure a walk is fine but anything that gets your heart rate too high might not be the smartest thing.0

No personal experience with this, but my 24 year old son told me his "remedy". He gets up early, drinks lots of water, takes an Excederin and goes for a long run to sweat it out. Good luck!0

I'm with you on brisk walk. Brisk walk with plenty of stretching!0
