HI my name is Sheila. I am 26 and hate the weight i am now. It makes me miserable in every aspect of my life. I was always pretty small but once i got pregnant i ballooned. afterwards, I had gall bladder issues so i lost all my baby weight within the first few weeks. Then i had gallbladder removed and was able to eat again so i got almost back up to my peak pregnancy weight!!!! (only 5 pounds away!!) Gross. i have done different things to get it off and i do good and lose and then i fall off track and gain back. I have not gotten back up to pregnancy weight again but i also have not gotten back down to pre pregnancy weight. Almost last summer but then i went crazy and gained 10-15 pounds back. I need motivation! Without it i get no where. I also love competition in weight loss. So anyone wanna put to me a challenge i welcome it. I also welcome new friends anytime. If you wanna add me as a friend just send the invite. Thanks and good luck to all, including me!

encouragement from others helps. motivation comes best from within. I recommend that you read my will power blog and create your own will power pill.

The challenges are really varied, not focused on just exercise0 -
what about getting some of your friends together that you love to vacation with.
then figure out how much weight you want to lose
apply that to how many weeks (ex 35 lbs to lose = 35 weeks from now)
and set your vacation date to then.
halfway through if your not at your halfway mark then you cant buy tickets (and tickets only get more and more expensive, talk about motivation! haha)
at least thats something that I am doing with a girlfriend, were starting it today.0 -
RUN. It's changed my life. It's cheap, and you can squeeze in 30 min any time of the day. Start out by running til you are out of breath. (Might be half a block--might be half a mile)--then walk til you feel energized. Then start running again. Hands down the BEST exercise in the world. At 110 calories per mile, you can't beat it.
Also, stop making weight loss your goal. Find a different goal, and the weight loss will happen on its own. I chose a marathon. Trained for a year, and did it. The weight rolls off.
PS--you get to eat more when you run, so it's great if you like to eat!0
