carbs, and working out??

ok, im trying to gain muscle here.. smart answers only please
im already consuming around 210 grams protein throughout my day. i burn around 250- 300 calories in the gym a day.. how many grams of carbs should i have in my day?? i love to run, and lift weights, but i dont want to burn off all that protein.. do i just make sure to have 300 g carbs before my workout??
keep in mind people, that im trying to gain muscle right now, not lose weight..

Building muscle is really about lifting heavy and I suggest a 5X5 program. As far as diet is concerned I would say eating about 20% over maintenance and I would also say getting about the same g's of carbs as your protein intake is fine. The main focus should be consuming over maintenance for building muscle.0

I aim for a 40/40/20 protein/carbs/fat as auticus mentioned.
