I don't know what should happen after I give blood. I mean I am trying to lose weight and watch my calories, but they won't let you leave the area without eating a cookie or drinking orange juice. Anyone have any idea on what I should do about calories and whatnot? Plus is it a good idea to workout after giving blood? If anyone has any input that would be awesome! Thank you!

  • I would suggest giving your body at least a day to rest without a workout seeing as you're missing some of your blood and it takes a bit for your body to produce more. Whatever they suggest at the clinic, do it... remember they're the pros.
  • heheh! That's what I was thinking, but I didn't really workout yesterday and am ansy to workout today. Everything is telling me to not workout though. We'll see how I feel and maybe I'll just go for a walk later on tonight. Thanks for replying!
  • no problem... I cant see a walk doing any harm, just read your body. Stay hydrated and if you feel weak or faint then make sure you have something healthy to eat and rest up! Remember theres always tomorrow.
