Please share some of your successes with this. I understand the concept, but now do I track it on MFP, how do I know which days to consume more? What has worked for you guys?
Thanks in advance :-)

Just take one day a week and eat around 2x BMR. This will boost your fat burning hormones.0

A friend just did calculations for me. You can use her formula if you want.
Basically, you figure out what your weeks allotment of calories would be at a 1 lb a week deficit, and cycle high and low days throughout your week.0 -
Zig zagging to me is basically carb loadig and eating over maintenance for a day or two and is really for people with low body fat. The other calorie shifting program is eating a staggered amount of calories each day. ??0

my girl lizzie gave me this link. i plugged in my weight and printed out the page with the numbers on it, did the average of the two numbers from the "fat loss" and "extreme fat loss" and it's hanging on my fridge. today is day one...im hoping to see something positive come my weigh in next week.
i also started resistance training today so im hoping the two together will give me some positive results.0 -
Try freedieting.com under weight loss plateau,In theory by changing the number of calories consumed daily you trick your body into keeping its metabolic rate up. your weekly calorie amount stays the same but say day 2 and 5 you consume under your calories and days 3 and 6 over. I usually have a couple of days a week over my allowance and try to get a couple under.
good luck0 -

One day a week will suffice. Your not actually tricking your body, just working with your body instead of against it.0 -
