I'm looking to get a tablet pc. I can't afford the overpriced iPad or do I particular care for Apple products. Any recommendations on a good inexpensive tablet pc. I'm looking to spend around $250 - $300 max. Thanks!

What about the amazon Fire, I think it's 199.99. Has te android is on it, apps, etc. google it and see if it fits your needs.

You should be able to get a nice Android Honeycomb tablet on Black Friday for that price. Check out the website slickdeals.net.

woot.com has android tablets fairly regularly. I've got a viewsonic I got from woot that I've been pretty happy with. I've seen Samsung and Motorola tablets on there recently.

I think my Archos 7 inch tablet is great. Very good product. It is around $250 to $300.

I really don't use it though as I'm at my computer and prefer a keyboard. I think they are more toys than anything.

Samsung Galaxy tabs get good reviews, or you can look into refurbs. Many will be having flash sales between now and the holidays. I would read the review on a tech site like CNET.com to get the info on the best budget tablets out there and then set a google alert for ones you like best.

Depends on what you want to do with it. Kindle fire is cheap. But it doesn't off all the same options as some of the other pricer tablets. If you have an andoid powered cell, then it might make sense to get a tablet that runs the same apps etc..

We are getting a Kindle Fire from Amazon ... its gonna be awesome and its about $200 bucks. It will not have all of the video chat, camera stuff, but will do what we need it to do!

The only advice I can give you is to, by all mean necessary, AVOID the Next tablet PC's they're the worst tablet PCs I've ever seen!

check out Droid. they offer a few, and are nowhere NEAR as expensive as the iPad.

i'm trying to figure out if i want to get a tablet, or a new laptop.
