Good Morning Blue Team.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. It was great here in VA. We had 70 degree weather. I can't wait for spring.

Happy Monday!! Haven't had time to read much lately on here, but I will go back sometime today and catch up on what's happenin. :flowerforyou:
I had a bad food weekend. I mean, really bad!!
Friday night, my boyfriend wanted to get Chinese... so, that started it. It was *so* good. The next day, we went to a nice Bed & Breakfast for an early Valentine's celebration (he has to work next Saturday) and it was soooooooo awesome.
Of course, we ate lots there!! It started with wine, cheese, crackers and these amazing Bosc pears. I'd never had them before. I only ate two crackers with a slice of cheese on each, though, and one glass of wine. Then... we played pool and I got beat royally. THEN... we had dinner. A spectacular salad (best thing I ate the entire time I was there!) with romaine lettuce, strawberries, slivered almonds, onions and homemade dressing (soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sugar and a little olive oil), rolls, chicken with champagne sauce, snow peas, potato gnocchis, roasted red pepper soup and some kind of amazing chocolate concoction for dessert. Yummmmmmm! And, of course, another glass of wine. :blushing: For breakfast we had a fruitini (bananas, mandarin oranges, strawberries in a martini glass full of orange juice), blueberry coffee cake (we had a lot of that), two cups of coffee, apple juice, cheese and asparagus omelet and a piece of french toast with powdered sugar, strawberries and cream.
I was so full.... I couldn't finish all my dinner or all my breakfast... but what I did have was soooooooo good.
... we tried to work dinner off that night. :blushing: :laugh:
Then, I went out with my mom on Sunday and she wanted Mexican! Bah... one of my weaknesses.
So.. today I feel like I have a food hangover! I really don't want anything to eat... I just want water and my stomach is upset. :ohwell: I guess that'll teach me.
Despite all that feasting... my jeans still feel very, very loose. :drinker: I can't wait to get to the gym this evening and see what I weigh! I'm hoping for 20 pounds lost by this Saturday (V-day), so I can tell my bf.

lcorrell14 sometimes we have to do what we have to do - sounds like you killed all of your vices at once so you should be good to go for a while now!

We tried that working off food too :blushing: - didn't work for me either but was fun trying!
We'll all move forward today is a new day!
My loss has slowed so much it get very frustrating at times but here's what I remind myself - I feel SO much better than I did 6 months ago and I know I am building muscle - so as I lose fat and gain muscle, It kind of offsets each other where my loss isn't so much in pounds but it's still my body getting stronger and healthier.0 -

Haven't done the p90X but I've heard it's a butt kicker - check with Sweettart - she's doing it maybe she'll have words of encouragement for you.0 -
Well I did my step class today but I had to leave 10 minutes early. My 8 yr old called from school because of another headache. He has had these for 3 days straight. I took him to the doctor and the doc said he most likely has a sinus infection. I was hoping to come after step class and do chaLean Extreme while my little one was napping but taht didnt work out that way. So I will try again tomorrow. Later on tonight I have cub scouts. So I will be busy today. I am getting so tired right now. I didnt sleep very well last night at all. After 2 am I was up at least once an hour and then it would take me awhile to get back to sleep.

My dog & I went to the river walk and did a 2.5 mile walk - it was gorgeous outside!

Hang in there Rach! That p90 thing sounds intense! Maybe just do something that you really enjoy doing if you're having a hard time staying motivated with that. You can always come back to it!

Connie, congrats on finally getting back to your step class! I'm only sorry that your day didn't go as planned, but aint that just part of being a Mommy!!??!! Hang in there & try again tomarrow!
Me - I got my workout done! BL Cardiio with just the music (no instruction) it's pretty cool that way & the music is pretty good!! I jumped on the treadmill for about 15 minutes to bring my total burn to 526 calories!! I still have to do my week 6 push ups tonight, but all I really want to do is nap!
I had a bunch of fried junk (wings, onions & cheese) last night! I stayed within my calories but was way over on my fat.. sooo... I don't know how that's going to play out. I gotta put my butt in gear for these last chance workouts before this week's big weigh in!!0 -

Alright yesterday I had a lot of this stuff call friendship bread but I wasn't being a very good friend because I didn't share. Its so damn good but you know what that means its so damn bad for you. I just got done working out to the 30day shred level 3 everyone.
It kicked my butt. However, I want to workout for another 10 mins tonight so maybe I will do that right after the kids get home from school and then take a shower get supper going and go to school conferences. Im going to be a busy women. We got a new bed today and I had to try it out and slept in today. Last chance workout everyone. I have TOM and well Im hoping to atleast stay the same no gaining. I know its normal but that would really get me pissed off. I guess we will have to see. :grumble: Good luck everyone. :flowerforyou: 0 -

lcorrel - I hear ya on the food hangover! :laugh: But you can do it...20 lbs be GONE!!! :drinker:
sanitfrey - I did enjoy my gym workout! It was sweating up a storm! :laugh: And I think I drank too much water :drinker: when I started...my tummy didn't feel so good for a few minutes. :sick: But the feeling went away!
My HRM says I burned 963 calories today. I feel like I've been eating all day trying to keep up! :noway: I figure I may as well exercise as much as I can since I have the time now, right?

I'm on plan just not posting very often.. no time with the job and kids, and.. everything, i guess.. i use what ever time i have for planing and working out.. but even without posting very often i'm with you guys.. and trying my 110% to contribute to the weekly results..

I didn't make the pudding and I can't wait till the Biggest Loser comes on this week.
Chocolate pudding doesn't have to be bad.. Take the fat free sugar free instant pudding and mix it with fat free milk.. it tasts good..and it's not going to throw you off of the wagon ..0 -
Ok so I have been missing for a while here. I haven't gained any weight but I haven't been losing either. School has been beyond busy this semester. I did make time to join a gym that is between school and home. I am planning on going Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for sure. I am going away this weekend for Valentine's Day
but there is a fitness center at the hotel that I am planning on taking advantage of.
I am hoping uping the number of workouts I am getting in will help melt away some of these pounds. I already packed my lunch for tomorrow so that should keep me on the wagon!!
Keep up the great work everyone. Weigh In is coming lets pull some big numbers!!!

Going to be heading out the door soon to my Bellies, booties and biceps class. I love my morning classes. Then maybe when my little one is taking a nap I can do my ChaLean Extreme. I have to redo day 1 because I did it several days ago and there was only supposed to be one rest day LOL.

Well I did Chest & Back and Ab Ripper yesterday...ALL of them! Whoohoo! Burned 381calories. I also managed to get the majority of my 10-pg final paper done for Comp, that's due at midnight tonight. Our internet should be getting hooked up today, so the plan for tonight is:
-Plyometrics
-Shower
-Dinner
-Final Paper
-Accounting test/study for final next week
It's gonna be a long night, but my workout will give me the energy to focus on school and get it done quickly. And I CAN'T WAIT to have the internet at home again!!!!! :drinker:0 -

I'm I'm.. !!.. this am was on the treadmill running only for 35 min .. didn't have more time than that, but i will try to sqeez some more tonight before the BL.. show..
ps. i love the podcasts from Jillians radio show.. very informational and encouraging ..
pss. got the " eat this not that " books- all three editions, the supermarket survival and the " kids " one as well.. - it's very informational and helpfull for the " moms on the run " like ourselves.. I always thought i " knew " all the stuff.. all the research i've done one fiber, calories, sugar and fat.. but still those books helped out a lot to compare the brands etc.. on a " quick ' look- don't have to sit down and study it before you understand it- very good books..

Well I burned 305 calories at my class this morning and I just got done doing ChaLean and I burned 276 calories there.
I did day one again on ChaLean since I had only done one day and it was last week so I started over. I like it so far. It is a hard workout, at least to me it is. I use between 5,8 and 10 lb weights.
