A huge Goal... lose 195lbs...

My name is Jimmie, and I am from Las Cruces, NM.
Current weight is around 300lbs
My Goal is to be fit, and around 230lbs.
In October of 2009 I went on a cruise, honestly it was an awful experience because I felt terrible. I weighed 425lbs, my self esteem was shot, my waist was around a 50 and I just had what amounted to little energy. In November I decided to do something abut it, I changed my eating habits, started working out slow and have built up to a constant workout routine which includes weight lifting, running, swimming, and lots of soccer (if I am chasing a ball it doesn't feel like running as much haha)!
I started my fitness pal about a month ago to add another monitor to my routine. This has been a great addition because it keeps me accountable for everything I eat and the amounts of it. I hope to break this plateau I have been at with this new tool. I am always up for new friends and look forward to continued health and fitness for myself and all of you!
Take care,

This is one a couple weeks ago, with my bike behind me!

Hi Jimmie, welcome to MFP.
I love the football (soccer) shirt as I have been a fan of that team for over 40 years.
Feel free to add me as a friend.
