Anyone row (erg)?

I've just started rowing (and actually purchased a rowing machine for home) and I love it! I'm wondering if there are any other rowers out there? What workouts are your favorites? I do a Tabata workout 4-5x a week and a longer, moderate workout 1-2x a week.

I use the rower as part of my workout, but never a whole session on it. A guy I work with actually just set a world record on the rowing machine though (he and one other guy rowing non-stop for something rediculous like 24hrs!)

My preference on the rower is for quick hard workouts, either interval sprints (ie flat out for 200m then 30 seconds rest), or a distance (usually 1 or 2km as fast as I can). Right now my goal is 1km in under 1:40 :)

Yup, but not on a machine. It's fun.

I love to do Tabata sets (20 sec. full out/10 sec. active recovery) on the rower. I feel like puking afterward, but it's a great workout in 11 min. flat. I have a waterrower, so the resistance actually climbs as you increase your velocity.
