I think its funny that its been 3 weeks almost that I started going to the gym. Granted I have a ton of weight to lose still but now I sometimes find myself wanting to go to the gym for a good workout to help relieve some of the stress I have dealt with that day.... I went from wanting to strictly go to lose weight to now using it as a coping mechanism for stress and frustration... Anyone else in this boat???

Guess its a good thing for me tonight since I had a stressful day at work and tonight starts my week 1 day 1 of C25K

Totally! My husband sometimes says "You need to go have a good gym workout!" when I get a little crazy b/c of stress. Even if I don't feel like going to the gym, I usually feel great when I leave.

  • I am a total witch if I dont exercise. I used to be prescribed Xanax and Paxil until I started working out regularly. I run or walk on my lunch breaks since I sit at a desk for 40 hours per week.
