Looking for some support from other newly married ladies! I got married Aug of 2010 and am having a hard time shedding lbs when the husband does not need it. I need dinner ideas that keep him and myself happy!

Try skinnytaste.com. I found that site to be amazing.

I eat the same as my boyfriend but have less - so I dont go over my goals. For tonight Ive made potato, bacon and cabbage soup, he will have it with a bacon sandwich and I have a small roll or a slice of toast or we will share a garlic bagette (1/3 for me).

    We also have:
Shepherds pie and veg (I have half plate of veg and small serving shepherds pie)
    Lamb mousakka and veg
Lost of different soups (my fav is red pepper and wensledale)
Sweet and sour chicken and rice (I mainly have veg - with just a spoon of rice)
    Chilli and Jac potato

What sort of thing do you like?

I make lots of soup and stew. Get vegetables in, great for leftovers, and the hubs can have as much as he wants, a sandwich with it, etc. Also, I drag my husband along on my health kicks because, even though he might not want to lose weight, watching his calorie intake and eating healthier will only help him in the long run.
