I'll be going on a weekend backpacking trip this week. I want to eat as clean as possible while out but am at a loss. I could really use your help. I have given up sugar and all sweetners except agave nectar, pur maple syrup and honey so no foods with those things in them. I have my breakfasts figured out, oatmeal with dried fruit and nuts. I'll be bringing some homemade trail mix for snacking...I will probably check out those Larabars I keep hearing about but don't know if I will buy any...depends on what the ingredient list says. I will have a stove but I won't be using it for lunch and it's a possibility for dinner but want to see if I can get away without it. Any easy suggestions?

I have to eat a lot of meals on the go and find a divided tupperware box with salad, pre cooked chicken, cut up fruits and veggies and nuts works very well.

Definitely try the Larabars! They have so many different flavors and most have less that 5 ingredients, none including any fake sweetener. They are all made with dates, which give them their sweetness. Carrot Cake = YUM

For instance the cherry pie bar has dates, almonds, and unsweetened dried cherries and is amazing. Go check them out on www.larabarstore.com.

Another vote for Larabars! They are a fantastic snack or breakfast!
