anything that changes your bodies hormones changes the chemistry of your body. Lots of people cite sources that say there is no evidence blablabla but its so so common for women to have weight management issues when they use hormonal birth control. If you are having issues with the hormonal IUD i sugges getting the copper T iud. Its hormone free! No mood swings, no weight gain, no acne etc. Some people are more sensitive than others, so if you feel like its doing something to your body you are probably right!0

I have a friend who had it removed because of the same reasons. She lost 10 pounds in 5 weeks without changing anything else and 40I lbs overall its been 14 months since she removed it. I have the copper one and I recommended the iud to her I just did not tell her which one. My mistake.0
