Can someone explain what the BMR is and how the info is to be used. I read the synopsis of it in the tools section, but I'm still not quite sure what that means for me.

Simply put :-the amount of energy or calories your body burns to maintain itself in its resting state. This is without any exercise or anything. If you lay in bed..this would be simply the calories your body burns without you lifting a finger.

Hi, yes, because we're mammals, we have to use alot of calories just to keep at 98.6, plus the other stuff like breathing. So the BMR is basically what you would burn if you were in a coma.0
