I stated my fitness journey last January with P90X. I did the 1st 90 day, then a little maintenance and completely slacked off for the summer. October 16th I started back into my getting fit and toned journey. On November 2nd (because I didn't hear about the challenge until November 1st and needed to get the DVD) I started the 30 Day Shred. Now, I'm not here to lose weight, I'm here to get in shape, tone up my body so it doesn't look pudgy and learn to eat healthy...all so I don't let myself go and get...you know, the "F" word. I thought I would post my measurements, as I'm pretty impressed how I've change, even more so now than when I was doing P90X:
January 1, 2011
Waist - 29.0
Hips - 38.5
Right thigh - 21.25
Left thigh - 20.5
Right arm - 10.25
Left arm - 10.25
June 18, 2011 (after slacking...ugh and getting married to my Hubby Bone)
Waist - 33.5 (dropping jaw!)
Hips - 38.25
Right thigh - 20.75
Left thigh - 20.75
Right arm - 10.5
Left arm - 10.5
November 2, 2011 (not thinking, I didn't take any measurements on Oct 13th when I started working out again. I was doing a mix of P90X, running and toning exercises before Nov 2nd)
High waist - 27
Waist - 33.5
Hips - 39
Right thigh - 21
Left thigh - 21
Right arm - 10.5
Left arm - 10.5
November 15, 2011 (After 6 days doing the 30DS, I became ill with strep and had to take 5 days off. Since Nov 13th was about 1 month from when I stated, I decided to start the 30DS all over again and keep going as I was seeing results with it)
High waist - 27
Waist - 32
Hips - 38
Right thigh - 20.5
Left thigh - 20.5
Right arm - 11
Left arm - 10.75
That's just 6 days on 30DS, 5 days for rest from illness and then 2 more days on 30DS. I'm shocked! I feel great and can seeing the toning of my body taking shape. I'm hoping to put up some before and after pics when I finish the 30DS.
