Working at a college...

It can be so difficult sometimes to say no. There's an all you can eat cafeteria for $6 with things like pizza, corn dogs, nachos, fried rice, and cake. There is also a pizza hut. This doesn't include various bake sales and food sales by students. =/ I need some will power...

The cafe gets me. There's this huge case of sweet treats and these huge chocolate chip cookies stare at me. :(

  • I would have to run the other way!

I work at a place that serves fried food and there are always left over fries etc. I made a rule for my self No Eating at Work.
I don't have any self control so i have to Bring my own food.

I work at a college too... I skip the main eating area and pack my lunch. :) I actually eat my lunch at my desk and go off campus for tanning on my lunch breaks or run other errands. That's how I maintain my willpower.. I just don't go near it. Yes, there will be the occasionally time when you MUST eat there- I go for a salad and QUICKLY get to my seat in the cafeteria so I dont or am not tempted to look elsewhere. There will also be the bake sale going on but think of those cookies/brownies as little high calorie sabotagers! (not sure if thats a word, but I just made it up! lol) And those cookies/brownies wont fill you up- They are empty calories.
  • Totally agree about the cookies. I just need to quit forgetting my lunch. The cookies and the pizza are the hardest for me to avoid.
