My 15 year old----:grumble: :ohwell:
I drop him off last Sunday for a Superbowl party---but said I would be by to get him around 10 pm---school night!! When I went back to get him, it was dark and the house numbers were not well lit so I called him to say "I'm not sure where the house is---I am outside --- just look for me"

I started to flick my high beams on and off (you know---to get his attention)
After 10 minutes of flicking---I called him ---"Are you leaving? "
His reply: "I'm outside---but I can't see you---some jerk is flicking their high beams on and off"

I have 2 1/2 years left to teach him ---OMG CAN IT BE DONE???:ohwell:

If it makes you feel better, my 15 year old son is just as clueless.... Must be a guy thing, and you can only hope they grow out of it... Hey Banks, you ever grow out of it? lol
  • He was showing common sense, he just didn't want to get in a car with a drug smuggler.

what a typical story of a 15 year old!
  • Haha! My 14 year old is the same way. Sometimes you just have to shake your head and smile. ;)

anyone else with teenagers........Are there days when you just want to beat you head on the wall? I think I have the reaction at least once a day.........another BIG sigh........:grumble:
  • I have 12 year old, and just as I get recovered from him , his 3 year old brother will be bringing up the rear to reinforce the cluelessness! OMG!!! What was I thinking on that spacing of kids. I hope that I survive. It will become survival of the fitest at some point. Thanks for posting all of the warning signs. LOL
