Will I EVER get sick of it??? Probably, but not for a while

I'm having my breakfast again for dinner. Steel-cut oats, cinnamon, and almond butter, straight from heaven. I have had this same breakfast for the last month... and I'm craving it for a second time today, so it's about to be dinner, maybe with a little bit of chocolate protein powder thrown in.
What's you meal that you could eat more than once a day? Do you? I keep thinking I'll wake up one morning and want something else, but my body keeps coming back for more!

I'm the exact same way. I've been eating the same breakfast for almost a year and I'm not sick of it. Old fashioned oatmeal with cinammon, blueberries and 1 TBSP of ground flaxseed. If I'm really hungry I'll also have one scrambled whole egg plus 2 extra egg whites with chopped green & red peppers and spinach.
And yes, I sometimes have oatmeal for lunch or dinner too, I love it so much.0 -
haha that's funny i eat the same too. i saw the cinnamon toast crunch today and was craving it, but i went with my oatmeal.
i love steel cut oats, but they take a little longer, so i just do old fashioned oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, about 2-3 tsp of ground flax (which i ground up fresh each week) and a little bit of yogurt.
then i have an instant oatmeal packet at work (they're provided free in the kitchen)
good way to get iron
oh and i make black beans for the week and have a 1/2 cup with cheese for lunch. i drain the water after soaking them so that i don't have digestion issues (i have a sensitive stomach). i need to keep up my fiber intake so it's perfect.0 -
I've always wanted to try the steel cut oatmeal, but I don't have that much time in the morning to make it. I guess I need to get some & I can make it for supper some night. The kids and I will have breakfast for supper when I haven't had the time to make them a good healthy full breakfast.0

It only takes about 10 minutes. I boil 1 cup water, then let 1/4 cup steel-cut oats simmer for 10 minutes.0

I have eaten the same lunch at least 4x a week for the past year or so.
It's a whole wheat sandwich thin with a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese, some avocado slices, sliced up chicken breast, slices of roma tomatoes and red onions warmed up on my panini maker. For sides I almost always have a big pile of raw broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and some hummus to dip it in. And lest I be too healthy I have a Diet Mt Dew and some Baked Lays. Lunch is my BIG meal of the day, I generally run or do my workouts early in the day so I am one hungry girl at lunch time.0 -

my bag says 3/4 cup water to 1/4 cup oats. I cook it on low for about 7 mins, then add milk, because it's not done yet, and the water is all absorbed. (maybe i'll try a full cup of water next time). It is unlike any other oatmeal I have EVER had.. and it is so friggin' good! I add skim milk, cinnamon and a small sprinkle of organic sugar.
i will NEVER go back to regular oat meal again! 7-10 mins is so worth the time!0 -
Yes!!! I love how chewy it is. That texture is just amazing to me - like brown rice!0
