Love to exercise, love to eat...

Hello all!

Well, the title says it all. Physical activity is totally present in my life, but so is lots and lots of FOOD!!! I love all kinds of food, though mainly sugary food. I've been overweight for years, and I've always said that if I could just curb my addiction to sweets, I'd be alright. I can't even imagine what I would look like if I didn't exercise.

If there is anybody who can relate to this problem, please let me know! I would love to hear how you curb your appetite so that your active lifestyle isn't going to waste!

Thanks!

I am the exact same way. I've lost a lot of weight and I am a dedicated gym rat but still have an incredible sweet tooth. And I have so many triggers- even writing thisnow gets me thinking about grabbing something loaded with sugar. I try to have one "treat" at the end of the day- like a 100 calorie snack pack and a diet hot cocoa. At other times I try to use distraction techniques, trying to remind myself of my goals, and trying to really focus on physical feelings of hunger instead feeling like eating.

Its a hard monster to tame. Good luck.
