Hello All,
Any recommendation for a Vegetarian cookbook? I've been looking around for one, but will greatly appreciate any recommendation. :-)
Thanks in advance

I have one called "Vegetarian Cooking For Everyone" by Deborah Madison. It's huge and has a great variety of recipes.

The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone is pretty good--it has a lot of good recipes (and a couple of flops, but she makes up for it with vegan blueberry peach crumble...mmmm) My favorite thing in there, actually, is a lentil/ sweet potato stew. It is soo so yummy and really healthy and low in calories.

My favorite cook book is Vegan with a Vengeance by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. Her recipes are easy and delicious. She also has a low-fat cook book called Appetite for Reduction. The recipes are easy, low-fat, vegan, and YUMMY!

Magazines aren't books (much to the disappointment of students everywhere, I'm sure), but Vegetarian Times has good recipes.

How to Cook Everything Vegetarian by Mark Bittman
The Moosewood Cookbook by Mollie Katzen
The Enchanted Broccoli Forest by Mollie Katzen
    The Grit Restaurant Cookbook
    The Joy of Vegetarian Cooking
  • Agree with Amygirl71 on the "How to Cook Everything Vegetarian" by mark bittman, that's an amazing one. Be warned though, it's kind of old school in that it doesn't have a lot of pictures. But all the recipes I've made from there are great.

Here are a couple more recipe blogs I've gotten a lot of great recipes from:
