I eat a significant amount of almonds or almond butter a day (about 200 cals worth). I'm thinking about eliminating nuts to see if it affects my weight. Has anyone seen changes in their weight by doing this?

Absolutely not! The fats in nuts (especially almonds and walnuts) contain essential fatty acids that not only promote muscle growth..but keep your body healthy. Space out your consumption to an even consistency throughout the day and you'll be golden.0

I had a spoon-to-jar attack tonight. That's how this came about0 -
Agreed! Nuts are good food! If anything cut down to 1oz per day, but don't cut them out.0

I usually eat at least one portion of almonds and a serving of peanut butter throughout my days. Some days even more. It's good protein and good fats!0

I always eat almonds and most days also almond butter and I am losing weight. It's about the whole picture of what you're eating and how many calories. I upped my almond intake because my fat and protein values were low.0
