It's funny how making a lifestyle change can alter your whole perspective on food/excercise.

Today, I mentioned to my mother that I was going to 'pig out' by having an extra slice of roast pork in my salad wrap, about a month ago my definition of 'pig out' would have been a WHOLE PIZZA and probably some wings too!

How has your perspective been altered by your lifestyle change??

  • Just a little while ago I was ready to start starving myself to lose weight. My goal was 90lbs. I started working out again, and reposting my intakes on MFP and all of a sudden I realized that I want to be thin, but I want to be stronger too! So now I'm not starving myself and I'm putting in the hard work to get stronger! I don't care if I lose or gain weight now.
  • I used to think that running a few blocks was quite a workout.
Now I run for miles, lift heavy weights, passed the army physical training test with flying colors!
Made me realize what a real workout was :D

    Haha! Exactly!

I remember looking at a HUGE "family sized" lasagna and considering it dinner for two. Now, I can pretty much split the personal sized ones!
