Divas (wahine) Half Marathon

Anybody ever do any of the Divas Half Marathons? I was looking at races for 2012 and came upon one for Hawaii! I think I am gonna do it. I'm so excited and it looks like soooooo much fun. Anybody have some good tips or advice?

    I did it last year!! It was fun!! If this is your first time running a half I would look into the Galloway method. http://www.jeffgalloway.com/

    Also, if you're ever on this side of the island Runner's HI is an awesome running store! The guy who fitted me for my shoes was very knowledgeable, looked at how I walked, and looked at how I wore the soles of my old shoes out. They also offer a military discount!! http://www.runnershi.net/

    Thanks!! Yes, it will be my first half. I will definitely look into the Galloway method. Thanks so much. I actually have a friend who recommended Runner's HI for that same exact reason. I really need to make my way over there. ;)
